I'll be real with you, a lot of us teachers on Skillshare were pretty unhappy when they took away the monthly membership option, and we weren't shy about sharing our feelings on it with the Skillshare team. I, personally, felt that the annual subscription price increase (it was lower than $169 in years prior) was a fair amount for the (frankly, amazing) value, but not having the cheaper option of subscribing from month to month made that increase feel somewhat soured to me. Back when I paid for my Skillshare membership (I don't anymore as a Top Teacher...sorry for the flex, but I wanted to give you the proper context 😅), having the monthly option allowed me the freedom to subscribe only during months when I could afford to.

Skillshare shared that they made these changes in order to continue to make Skillshare more affordable for more students, and I'm so glad (and grateful) that they listened to and implemented that feedback.💚
