Fabric Garden

Hi, Lovelies!

I found the cutest fabric shop in Sacramento (about 45 minutes away from me) and I wanted to share! It’s called Fabric Garden and I’m kind of in love, not gonna lie. I literally spent about 40 minutes just looking at all of the different fabrics, admiring the sewing and embroidery inspiration, and taking pictures (so I could blog about it, obvs).

One of my goals for this year is to license my work with a fabric company, so I made sure to note the different companies I was unfamiliar with, particularly if I felt that my patterns would compliment their existing collections. Research, research, research!

The super sweet store employee informed me that they also have quilting and embroidery classes! I haven’t sewed anything since I was a teenager and I’ve never seriously tried embroidery, so I’m gonna have to check out their classes when I can. :D

I just love how they arrange their sample bundles and collections! It’s so cute! Not to mention, it also makes it harder to resist the temptation to buy all the fabrics!

Those Halloween fabrics, though. 🤩Look, the holiday may be eight months away, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s never a bad time for Halloween-themed stuff. And I’m loving how popular vintage is lately. Vintage florals, vintage color palettes, and now vintage Halloween motifs!

I ended up buying an adorable little pair of blue and white polka-dotted embroidery scissors as extra incentive to get me to sign up for a class. XD

Do you have a favorite fabric shop? If so, share it in the comments!
